Level 03 Courses in Fire Safety

This course leads to a nationally recognised, regulated qualification for those working in the Fire Risk Assessment industry, and who work predominately in medium-risk buildings.  (It will by default also cover working in low risk buildings). 

This qualification is based on the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the Fire Sector Confederation Benchmark Standard for Fire Risk Assessors, and British Standard BS 8674 Built Environment - Framework for Competence of Individual Fire Risk Assessors - Code of Practice 

The Level 03 Award in the Inspection and Testing of Fire Resisting Door Installations is a regulated qualification designed to provide learners with advanced knowledge in the inspection of fire resisting doors, including their specification, condition and identification of necessary remedial works. 

The course combines up-to-date theory and legal requirements with development of practical skills to ensure learners are able to apply knowledge on-site to inspect door installations and carry out competent fire door surveys.
