The session will be of interest to those that may encounter fire strategy reports in their day-to-day work, for example those working in approvals, Fire Risk Assessment and facilities management. The purpose of the session is to provide awareness of fire strategies and give delegates insight into how complex engineering assessments are undertaken. The session includes seminars on Fire Safety Law, the Building Safety Act, Designing to Prescriptive Codes and Performance-based Fire Engineering.

The session will be of interest to those that may encounter external wall assessments in their day-to-day work, for example those working in approvals, Fire Risk Assessment and facilities management. The purpose of the session is to provide awareness of external wall fire safety and give delegates insight into how external wall assessments are undertaken. The session includes seminars on External Walls Fire Case Studies, EWS1 Forms, Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls and External Wall Fire Testing.

This two day course is aimed at those already working in the fire industry and looking to increase their knowledge of Fire Engineering. The CPD course covers three learning outcomes – 1) Understand the Importance of Fire Safety and Fire Engineering; 2) Understand the Principles of Fire Engineering Design; 3) Understand the Use and Purpose of Guidance Documents; and will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of fire engineering practice and the tools to confidently develop as a Fire Engineering practitioner. The seminar includes real-world examples throughout the classroom sessions of fire engineering design as well as the underpinning theory that Engineers use to develop performance-based solutions. The session includes seminars on Fire Engineering Design Frameworks, Evacuation Strategies, Types of Alarm System and Introduction to Fire Modelling.
