Our mission is to provide high-quality training courses in our world class facilities at the Delta Training Academy or on-site at your premises. Our expert tutors deliver a dynamic and practical learning experience, supporting our commitment to improving competency and professional ethics across the fire sector through the education and upskilling of our customers. 

Founded in 2022 by Joe Hart, the Delta Innovation Group was established with a clear vision - to strengthen the connection between industry and academia in the fire sector. We believe that cutting-edge research, real-world practitioners, and industry leaders must work together to drive innovation, improve safety and enhance education practices to protect our communities, businesses and environment.

Joe Hart has played an active role in fire engineering education, having held a teaching position at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), where he contributed to the development fire engineering degree programmes. His experience in teaching, mentoring, and applied research has shaped the Delta Innovation Group's commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional development, alongside building an industry-leading Fire Engineering and Fire Risk Assessment practice with Delta Fire Engineering Ltd.

From this strong foundation, we are now channelling our expertise into the delivery of regulated training courses, designed to provide comprehensive, industry-focused fire safety education. Our programmes ensure that professionals across the fire sector - from early-career engineers to experienced consultants have access to the latest developments, regulatory changes and best practice in fire engineering.

Delta Fire Engineering works closely with clients to deliver practical, proportionate, and technically robust solutions to real-world fire safety challenges. Delta Research & Development focuses on investigating emerging and evolving fire risks, generating critical data, and developing innovative products and methodologies, all underpinned by rigorous testing within our in-house research laboratories. Through the Delta Training Academy, this knowledge and experience is translated into industry-leading, regulated education programmes designed to raise competence and professionalism across the fire sector.

Together, the three businesses form a unique ecosystem in which education, professional practice, and innovation directly inform one another, ensuring that learning is evidence-led, industry-focused, and continuously evolving to meet the demands of a changing built environment.
