Level 03 Certificate in Foundation Fire Risk Assessment

By the end of this course learners will be able to:

• Understand the principles and scope of FRAs in buildings and premises that can be categorised as presenting a low to moderate risk. 
• Understand fire safety legislation.
• Demonstrate an understanding of fire development and spread.
• Apply understanding of building design, construction and maintenance. 
• Understand and evaluate fire safety management arrangements. 

Suitable for practicing fire risk assessors who operate in building presenting a moderate risk such as those with sleeping accommodation, increased fire hazards or more complex layouts and use such as colleges, hotels, restaurants and leisure centres.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Candidates should have access to suitable premises to allow them to gather the evidence requirements of this qualification specification.
